Siloam Springs State Park
Nature's bounty has conspired to produce a natural beauty and source of recreation greatly prized by generations of Midwesterners at Siloam Springs State Park, just minutes east of Quincy in Adams County.
The beautifully wooded terrain, sparkling lake and carefully maintained facilities make this 3,323 acre site one of the most beautiful parks in Illinois. It's an ideal setting for outdoor visits, whether your interest is hunting, fishing, camping, boating, picnicking, hiking or bird watching. The park is surrounded by luxuriantly forested gullies and scenic crests alive with wild roses, black-eyed Susans, white false indigo and snapdragons.
Great place to go with family or friends. You can spend anywhere from 1 hour to 3 hours here. Siloam springs has easy to moderate bike trails and walking trails also a large swimming area. Make sure to bring good water and sunscreen.
Love love love this park. We camped for 4 days and I could have stayed forever. So much to do the park is clean and very well maintained. Camping Kayaking biking and hiking we're some of the activities we enjoyed.
Beautiful park. Nice 68 acre lake. Clean campgrounds. In the middle of no where but definitely worth the trip.
Three horse trails, with two close to a 10 mile loop. Nice camping area with 2 dozen horse camping sites, each with sturdy iron tie rail, grill, picnic table and trailer parking area. Some with electricity, some without.
Beautiful place. Don't expect a signal on your phone, but that's appealing to me...
